10.30am - 11.15am
"Let's Go Motorhoming"
Warren Harmer, a long time member of the Campervan Motorhome Club of Australia and a keen motorhome traveller, will present an informative and jovial presentation covering all aspects of the motorhome lifestyle. The seminar will cover:

  • Explanations of the various types of campervan, motorhomes and 5th wheelers
  • Insurance
  • Taking your family car with you
  • Working with heavy transport vehicles
  • Driving license requirements
  • Maintaining your vehicle
  • Practical experiences of life on the road

11.30am – 12.30pm
“Tips and techniques for towing safely – Preserving your sanity”
Presented by John Eggenhuizen.  John is the leader of the very popular Australian Caravan Safaris and a senior instructor at Tow-Ed, a multi award winning company that teaches people how to tow.   Whether you are new to towing, do it every now and then, or you are an old hand, come and grab a seat for an hour and lend your ears to John as he imparts a swag of tips and techniques on how to tow safely.  He will talk on:

  • Tyres – Mirrors – Braking Systems  - Weight Distribution Hitches
  • Traffic Management – Low Risk Driving

“Workabout Australia”
Presented by Barry Brebner.  There is no doubt more and more people are taking advantage of the opportunities out there to “Workabout Australia”.  Barry is just the person to fill you in on how to travel Australia and get paid to do it. He will include information on:

  • Job Locations throughout Australia
  • Types of jobs available and various industries
  • Potential users – The Workabout Australia Club – Members experiences
  • Opportunities for caravan and motorhome users

1.30pm - 2.30pm
"Preparation for the Trip – Be prepared for fun"
Presented by John Eggenhuizen.    The key to having a great trouble free holiday is to ensure that you are well prepared.  Come and spend an hour with John as he presents a number of ideas on how you can be better prepared for touring.  Topics include:

  • Vehicle and van preparation
  • Communications
  • Packing
  • Itineraries

2.45pm – 3.15pm
"4WDriving to the Top of OZ"
Presented by Tom Rosser.   Always wanted to drive to the Top? Tom Rosser of Billy Tea Bush Safaris is a Cape York specialist. Whether you wish to drive by yourself or join a 4WD tour, don't miss Tom's handy tips on safely accessing and enjoying 4WDriving to and from Cape York.

3.30pm – 4.15pm
Tips, Techniques and Communications  for Safe 4WDriving”
Presented by John Eggenhuizen.  It’s part of the great Australian dream to get out there and explore this magnificent country from the grandeur of the high country to the endless gibber plains of the red centre.  So many places to visit and nearly all of them can be accessed with a well prepared 4WD.  John will present a range of tips and techniques on how to tour Australia safely in your 4WD.

DON’T MISS -  Wollondilly River Station’s daily Camp Oven Cooking Seminar Demonstrations held on site on stand no 88.  Presented by Ina, she will explain all the basic handling tips around Camp Ovens and cook various meals ranging from Damper and Bread to Cakes, Cookies and Sweets – also Baked Dinners, Pizza or Lasagna.  You will be thrilled to see how easy Camp Oven cooking becomes with her expert advice.
